Non-active domains are domains that are no longer actively maintained, including expired domains, domains on hold, or pending deletion. These represent potential investment and backorder opportunities.

We monitor domains in several critical states:

• Inactive: Domains that are not currently resolving to any content
• Client Hold: Domains held by the registrar for administrative reasons
• Server Hold: Domains held by the registry, preventing registration
• Expired: Domains that have passed their expiration date
• Redemption: Domains in the 30-day redemption grace period
• Pending Delete: Domains scheduled for deletion and release

Our database tracks domain status changes daily, but please note:

• Results are a sample, not exhaustive. We limit displayed results to prevent data scraping and maintain service performance.
• Domain statuses can change rapidly. Always verify current status through our WHOIS tools before taking action.
• Timing is critical. Domain availability windows can be very short, especially for valuable domains.

Domain backordering is a service that attempts to register a domain immediately when it becomes available after deletion. Success is not guaranteed as multiple parties may compete for the same domain.
