Active Domains represent the total number of domains that are currently active and resolving in the DNS system for each TLD. Newly Registered Domains show the daily count of fresh domain registrations. Active domains provide insight into the overall health and size of a TLD, while newly registered domains indicate growth trends and registration activity.
For single TLD analysis: Active Domains charts show 90 days of data to capture long-term trends, while Newly Registered Domains charts display 90 days with 7-day and 14-day moving averages. For comparison mode: Both chart types show the most recent 30 days to enable clear side-by-side TLD comparisons.
MA7 and MA14 represent 7-day and 14-day moving averages for newly registered domains, which smooth out daily fluctuations and highlight longer-term registration trends. These moving averages are particularly useful for identifying patterns in domain registration activity.
You can compare up to five TLDs at once in comparison mode. Each TLD is displayed with a distinct color in both the Active Domains and Newly Registered Domains charts, making it easy to identify and contrast trends across different top-level domains.
We support most mainstream generic TLDs including .com
